Right now,

The Prologue Documentaries have been upgraded to x264 mp4 format.

Right now,

Iíll explain a little more about what I am working on.

In February, I converted my old Uru music videos to MP4. I converted the existing WMV files into MP4, and they didnít look any worse than before, but I knew they could look better.

So a few weeks ago, I installed Adobe Premiere Pro after having not had it installed since 2013.

Since then I have re-exported everything for which I still have the original project files into high quality MP4. That includes my later music videos, and all of the completed Prologue Documentaries.

But there is a downside; with the now-retired WMV and MOV versions, the video compression levels I had used were pretty aggressive and made the videos a little blurry. The muddy video hid some of the less-than-stellar editing I had done. In the crisp new MP4 versions, the shortcomings are much more obvious.

Where I could previously get away with painting Philís Relto book blue (to match his jeans) in scenes where he should not have a book, itís now really noticeable that Iíve done a hack photoshop job.

Aside from that though, the new MP4 videos are beautiful and clean and much nicer to watch than the old ones.

So that leads me to my current project; I am reworking the sub-par edits so that the fixes are much more subtle and less likely to be noticed.

I am also working on fixing additional continuity errors (Sharper has a book on his hip in Episode 1, and the wrong subtitle colors are sometimes used). Where possible, Iím also reducing the effects of avatar lag rubber-banding that occurred when filming on Until Uru or Alcugs shards.

Finally, Iím tweaking the timing of some scenes so that reading speed is a little more consistent throughout the series.

All of these changes collectively should be be subtle; these are surgical edits, and Iím not creating a George Lucas ďSpecial Edition.Ē Unless youíre looking for the changes, you shouldnít really notice them, youíll just think ďwow this is even better than I remembered.Ē
