Right now, finally finished Anathem. Now have an odd urge to refer to my mobile phone as a jeejah. Confused

Right now, I am no longer Guild Master Marten at the Guild of Messengers. Lynnutte has won our new election (although as of this moment, she still needs to accept the role). I have a new job, the Reporters Chair position, and that will include working with Andros to advertise the guild where appropriate and encourage explorers to contribute news to us.

When the Guild of Messengers held elections for their first council, we already knew that Myst Online was shutting down soon thereafter. Because of the uncertainty of the future, and because some of us were just getting to know each other better, we deliberately chose a relatively short period for the council's terms. And we're sticking with 6 months again for the next council because the future is still uncertain. Confused

PS: Benevolent-ish Dictators are boring. Evil's more entertaining. Twisted Evil
