It was great popping into the Cavern and running into fellow GTers. Really feels like it's picking up. Really good energy. We should all have our sea legs by the time the Cavern officially re-opens. It was great having Quaxo visit with us albeit briefly. Moiety Jean would soon join us and we would all head out to Cycreim's Teledahn......where things went a little kerflooey. lol. Oh, and ladies? Thanks for setting me free. Wink

Great indeed.

It was the first time I've been able to get into the Cavern in a while, and to see so many friends there made it fun.

Hmm... for the ladies to have 'freed' you, Prof, that implies that they must have 'detained' you...

The good stuff ALWAYS happens after I go to bed. Wink

Great to see everyone...

LOL, that sounds really bad. And don't forget, Marten helped too! He is not a lady. ;D

LOL I'll bring Squee cookies. Wink

What time is good for everyone, generally? Like, 8 PM Cavern Time? That'd be 7 PM Pacific and 10 PM Eastern. Seems like a nice, round time to me.

Sounds good! Except Teledahn kills me now, apparently.

Sorry, Cycreim. We all had a great time in YOUR Teledahn even though YOU couldn't be there. LOL. Is it still broken? You may have to reset it. Need some help? Confused

Heh that always happens to me too, I invite people round to one of my ages for a party and as soon as it gets going I crash. Would be a real bummer if that happened in real life, invite a few friends over and once they arrive you spontaniously fall through the floor. Mad

If you give me a day and a time (in GMT Wink ) then I'll try and be there. I'll even force this little laptop to play Uru if it likes it or not!

/me glares at laptop

How often is UU crashing for you guys? On my computer, it happens every time, sooner or later, and we get that little window with a cascade of numbers in the corner. We're hoping it's not just my computer.

Until Uru is exceedingly stable for me. It only crashes on my laptop when I try to take a KI picture. I don't think I've tried taking a KI picture on my desktop. Hm. Maybe I should.

Perhaps I should mention that my laptop has one gigabyte of memory, and my desktop has two gigabytes? So, I don't run out of memory too quickly. Until Uru has some memory problems whenever a person is doing... well, pretty much anything *other* than just standing. If someone in the Age sits down, or interacts with their KI, or does any animation that doesn't quickly terminate on its own... every person in that Age will see their Uru memory use steadily climb until the person doing the action stops.

Mark Dev has an execellent discussion topic explaining this problem here:

Generally speaking UU never crashes for me. I've been very lucky in that regard. (Less lucky in others). I crashed quite a number of times during Prologue, though.

I can't remember the last time I was in UU. What are the game completion requirements to get in? I want to try to get into the cavern again.

1) Go through the Cleft portion so you can go below and get your Relto book.

2) Go to Gahreeson and get your KI.

That's it. You do not have to complete the Ages in order to meet up in the City or the Hoods.
