Well pooh, Farlesis beat me to the punch Razz Smile That's OK though. We are both excited about the upcoming Myst IV. Besides the great scenery, I hope it has some good, mind numbing puzzles. Well, not too mind numbing. I don't want to spend weeks trying to figure one out Smile

Yup... I saw it... and said out loud, "ooooooooh."

Is it safe to assume that the bedroom is Atrus' and Catherine's?

Yes I thought it was Atrus and Catherine's bedroom as well, because of the painting.

I think it's gonna be cool. We've all spent so much time in the worlds they wrote links to... but this looks like one of the first times we're going to experience their world.

yay!

Yes, and if you look really closely at the picture, it looks like Sirrus and Achenar are playing with the boat in the fountain on Myst Island Smile You can also see the clock tower at the other end of the pathway.

That's so true! How exciting! When I first played Exile I wanted so much to see the rest of the house and learn more about how they lived. Now it looks like we might get to do that! What a marvelous idea! If the rest of the story is this cool, it's going to be an awesome game!

Yes Kehrin I definitely wanted to see more of their house in Exile as well and was disappointed that we didn't. But now with Revelation it looks like we will be able to Smile

Did anyone take a close look at the trailer and then the fireplace in that shot?

Yep... I noticed that too.

It kinda stands out when you have a fireplace witout a set of irons in it... let alone any sign of a fire.

Comparing the trailer to the picture, I think the fireplace in the picture is where the girl is hiding/trapped. In the trailer, I still think it looks like she's hiding in there. She isn't being pursued by anyone, yet. I think Catherine is putting her in there for safety; from her brothers I would assume. I don't think the hand is trying to grab her, but rather giving a final love pat realizing that they don't know when they'll see each other again. That's just my thought.
