We've had a recent surge in members lately so I wanted to take the time to welcome all the new people.

Welcome! Glad to see everyone here.

I hope you'll find that we're a pretty open community of people who enjoy good discussions of Myst, URU, Life, Randomness, etc.

As you may have noticed by our theme, and some of our older forum posts, this group was originally formed to gather support for the URU Live movement that was started by Douglas Sharper. Since then it has evolved to include anyone who is even remotely interested in URU/Myst/any of the above topics and more. I would like to think that the underlying message of unity, freedom of information and exploration is still present, however.

Feel free to introduce yourselves here. You might tell us how you found this site, where else you post, and maybe even some of your experiences from Live (if applicable). I really hope everyone will stick around and contribute to this growing community.

Really happy to see this thing blooming.

I think Gadren posted links on several other URU forums about Ashtar's visit to Cyan on GT pizza day, and his recap of X2 spoilers... thus the influx of visits to the GT forum.

thanks...im glad i finally made it here.
Yes, the x2 link was how i managed to get here ..(finallY)

but to be honest..i orginally heard about the site from brian when he made his speech in the great tree 'hood...aobut a week before live got unplugged...in the "newly" opened community room of the hoods.

but i was never able to find the webiste..and sadly, never saw bri on again after that.....but im here now.!!
