If indeed the stranger has been living in Tomahna or Releeshahn for the last ten years, surely Atrus would have taught them a thing or two about the Art... (All this imagining is fun!)

Why not? it happened all the time to Scooby and the gang...

I wonder if the D'ni prison ages are anything like the prison dimension in the movie "The One."

Scooby and the gang? They don't bother me. What I fear is Jessica Fletcher (as played by Angela Lansbury).

Every time she shows up, someone dies! The television series should have been titled, "Murder, her arrival premonished."

(Instead of "Murder, She Wrote.")

I just found this on the GoG website:

Quote:
April 5, 2004: Myst IV - Revelation Officially Announced

According to Gamespot and IGN.com Ubisoft today officially announced the next game in the long running Myst series. Myst IV: Revelation continues the story of Atrus and his family as once again they need your help. Your task in Myst IV will be to find Yeesha who has been kidnapped and Sirrus and Achenar are the prime suspects! As expected Ubisoft is being tight lipped about any more story details. "Myst IV: Revelation will be a welcome addition to the Myst franchise, strengthening what is already a worldwide leader in the adventure category," said Alain Corre, Ubisoft's managing director for Europe, Asia Pacific, and South America. "We are now back to the roots with this new opus--in perfect line with the first trilogy of games, Myst, Riven, and Myst III: Exile." Myst IV: Revelation is being handled internally at Ubisoft's Montreal studios and once again will feature the music of Jack Wall and Peter Gabriel.

strange and stranger..
however..i ddint think she was beign pushed into a cell...from what i saw in the trailer..its lookes more like she is running out of a secret passge with someone else..close behind her....she manges to tap the wall twice..(which lookslike the trigger for the door to slide down)...jsut as the hand is tryig to grab her....manges to grab her necklace...(which looks similar to the orb(eye?() that the two books are in later in video)...which forces the hand person to withdraw back into the pasage or loose the arm..
Just my opinion..

Very nice site. Well done. I have to go back and find Yeesha, though. Confused

OMG! The UK site is so much better than the US site! While it only took me 10 minutes to find everything, it gave me such a greater anticipation for the game. They need to have something similar set up for the US.

The US and UK sites look identical to me.

And they're both broken. They don't work on either Mozilla or IE. I get a flash program that loaded with some sort of sketch on the left, and the text:

"MYST IV Revelatoin contnues the story of Myst, with beautiful, intriguing new worlds to explore. Search through these pages to unlock the secrets of this site and see the video taken from the game itself to get a glimpse of what awaits you in Myst IV Revelation.

/- skip intro /- always skip"

Clicking either of the "skip intro" buttons does nothing.

I think someone goofed the update today.

Hi Marten

Sorry to hear your having problems with the site Sad Have you made sure you've got flash installed? It would have been helpful if the site actually said you need flash to view the following pages so people were aware. Or at least present an alternative, which quite a lot of sites do like movie sites which give you the option of either a flash version or a html version. But I would check to make sure you have flash installed or go to Macromedia's website and download the latest free version from their downloads page.
