Are they attempting to usurp our cause? The Great Tree

Interesting. But now I'm confused Confused Didn't Tweek organise The Third Path or is this a new divergence of the same thing or is it the same people using there real names?

All branches of the same tree. But I'm guessing Sharper has more of an idea of what D'ni is about then Rofen does.

I think usurp may be too strong a word. Hmmmmm....let me see.....How can I say this without Pride entering it.......Nope! Can't do it.

Farlesis, is right. We're all part of the Great Tree no matter how many branches there are, no matter which way they are pointing.

It's fun to see things that are going on elsewhere. It's better that reading all the crying/complaining/whining posts elsewhere.

Not that I'm complaining. Shocked

Wow, I've really backed myself into a corner what with the pride and the complaining.....I don't know.....I think I'm starting to dodder.....

Well, I received an e-mail from Tweek (D'ni Jazz Club), which included a link to The Third Path. Clearly, the website was created only recently, because all the topics/threads were posted on February 25.

I'm thinking we should extend an invitation to our "brothers & sisters" so they, too, might enjoy wearing a Great Tree Jacket... Very Happy

Was just checking some Uru sites and was looking through liquid light site about Zandi's geocaching and this bit has been added that I haven't seen before:

Thanks, Mystlander. Very interesting!

The Third Path was around very early. When things looked like it was down to choosing either the DRC or Sharper-Phil-Yeesha, Tweek founded the Third Path. I haven't investigated to see what they're doing lately, so I have no idea what they stand for.

Smile

Edit: I do know that he very recently changed his web site design and that's why it looks so new. He does gorgeous art work on his designs and changes them frequently.

It's interesting (and a bit sad) to go back and look at that chat log with Stan.

Professor Askew wrote after posting the chat log (from January 24th)
Quote:
I don't know what he meant by he "won't be able to stay forever" and the other similar line.

Well, I guess we know now what it meant...

There were various other comments made as well by other people weeks before access to the cavern was stopped, which in light of what happened could be interpretated as forseeing/knowing what was going to happen.

But one day we shall all be back in the cavern and I look forward to that day with great joy Smile

LOL Ashtar!! If our schedules connect we can do just that, it would be fun to meet some of the staff, and ask some questions, huh? I have never been to jail, that could be interesting. Razz

Farlesis, I look forward to that, too Exclamation

MsLorene: Be sure to look for my private message. Maybe we can make a trip out there soon to visit with the good folks at Cyan.

According to TerraServer USA, those topographical coordinates lead to a position 7 km SW of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, United States... DOH!

However, if you enter the coordinates as a continuation of the Liquid Light URL, you are taken to The End of the Internet by The NetWatcher... DOH squared!

I'm open to suggestions...

Hi Mystlander

Now that is interesting. Especially the end of the internet page by adding the coordinates onto the end of the liquid light url. I did wonder at the time whether the coordinates where something to do with the surface, maybe it's both in the cavern and above? I don't understand how TerraServer works or what's at Oak Ridge, Tennessee Confused I was never good with numbers.

I was thinking along the same lines as Mystlander and came across the Netwatcher site. Nothing there that seemed useful, but Zandi apparently has a way of hiding clues in the most unlikely places Smile I also was going as far fetched as thinking:

Quote:
The gathered will tell the path of the shell.
33395 / 58 / -81
Zandi

Hmmm.....path....shell.....Unix commands! Yep, I know it sounds far fetched, but you have to think of everything when it comes to Zandi's clues Smile Those Great Zero/KI coordinates will be something to remember when the expansion pack comes out, that's for sure. Until then, it's fun to try and unravel another possible Zandi journey.

Just came across this thread posted by Stanley Murray over at UO: The Branches

Perhaps it might shed some light on our quest?
