It is worthwhile to say it, Erik.

If I were the (even) more temperamental person that I used to be, it might all be gone now already. But no, I have not deleted any of the work. I do need to make a backup of it in case of accidents though.

So I will do that.

I have also updated the media page to indicate that the remaining episodes are suspended rather than "coming soon." I expect that Google's translation is probably inappropriate for some or all of the foreign languages, so if anyone has a better translation, please feel free to provide it here and I will update the pages as directed.

Hehe... maybe this has something... hmmm... like food for thought...
... as nothing happens accidentally... but however, nothing obligatory,
more like a little nudge like "Are you sure...?... Razz

When I've seen this before on the MOUL forums, I'd like to tell you,
my heart jumped and I thought, oh, yeah!!! I can't believe it, it's so great!!!
When I looked into this thread I really wondered about the text
and only then I realized the date... haha... Very Happy

I am respectfully withholding my opinion at this time.

I'm not sure, but I'm thinking that silmefea is suggesting that a similar project be performed for the events of MOUL. His recommendation is vague.

Personally, I do not have interest in covering the events of MOUL, but I have an archive of video captured from the times I was able to attend "important" events, and I'd be happy to contribute that material to someone who wanted to embark on such a project.

Update Posted some clarification at the MOUL site.

And Eleri: I don't blame you. Cool

I can't help but wonder (as I'm sure many other people are) whether you will continue the production of these episodes, Marten, when MORE comes online.

As a fan of your collective work, I can't wait to see the remaining episodes - especially Phil's fall. I was not present during the Prologue days, and these documentaries are the next best thing to being there. DRC interactions during Prologue seem so much more intimate than those during MO:UL.

Anyway, sorry to bring this up. Just curious.

This is a possibility, but I'll have to decide when MORE is online.

...

Anyone? Anyone at all?

All right, by Hungus, I'll ask. Now we have MOUL back, will there be any possibility of this series concluding? I've been using it to introduce people to the previous story and so far they've found it invaluable - with a new influx of people due, I think this series has an entire new audience who will want to experience what has come before.

In the short term, the answer is no. I wish I could say otherwise, but even with lots of help, filming and assembling is very time consuming and right now I don't have the time to devote to it.

I will re-evaluate this matter on an ongoing basis though.

For those who care about this project, I do want to assure that there are still 4 folders on my computer, labeled:

Ep8_Work_In_Progress
Ep9_Work_In_Progress
Ep10_Work_In_Progress
Ep11_Work_In_Progress

The first folder contains the Episode 8 script in English and French (translated by Annick). The last two folders contain very preliminary scripts in English only.

The 2nd folder - for Episode 9 - contains an incomplete script but also a significant amount of video for portions of the script I felt certain could not be cut. I revealed parts of this video in test renders before, but never as one complete video.

I could post the 11 1/2 minute project... or I could continue to sit on it, hoping to reveal it in a complete state someday.

I would like to see it, but if there's still a chance that you will continue with those episodes (in the not too distant future), I'd rather wait. Smile

Yeah!!! There he is back again... I also have my folders ready waiting
for the resumption and continuation of this project... Razz

"Episode Eight Unrest in Ae'gura" (folder) contains a completed script and
already translated... I reviewed it again, applied some corrections wondering
why I didn't send you this one back then... However, I'll attach it to an
email that I'll send to you after I finished my post here...

"Episode Nine The Secret Room" contains the incomplete script you've
mentioned "Episode9v2.doc" plus those 4 test renders -->
Ep9Test2.mov, Ep9Test3.mov, Ep9Test3b.mov + Ep9Test.wmv
and a few websites containing the original logs etc. for the script...

"Episode Ten Resistance and Consequence" contains nothing but the
basic websites with material for a script...

"Episode Eleven The Fall of Phil Henderson" contains a test render
"Ep11_Ending.mov" and no script as well, only three basic websites...

Yeah, that's what I still have, Marten... Of course, I'd like to see the
11 1/2 minute project if you don't mind posting it, but as Erik, I could
also wait for its completion if you'd prefer to keep it until then...

Generally, if you intend to go on completing this project with filmings,
assemblings etc. etc., and I suppose many and esp. new explorers would
love to see and understand what came before and why the community
is as it is etc. etc... and if you'll need a german translator you can count
me in if you like... Very Happy

Thanks Jana. I've received the script in my e-mail. I'll add it to my collection.

The Ep 11 preview you have must have been some of the very early work Smile I believe I still have the recordings used to create the preview, but I'm not sure if I still have the preview file anywhere.

I feel like I'm receiving some conflicting direction here. Cool I'll just sit on the project for a while longer, I guess...
