I'm working on more murals. Here's a sketch, the sort of direction I'm going for:

That's an amazing mural, Cyc! I love your use of color. Very powerful. This mural gave me goosebumps.

(BTW, who are the two people in the background?)

They're supposed to be explorers. I think I should make that more explicit...

Powerful indeed.
Reminds me of "Guernica" by Picasso, very apt. Great work Cyc!

Edit- Also do the two halves of the bahro on either side of the picture indicate repetition, an unending cycle? In that you could put two copies of the picture together and it would continue with the explorers always just watching.

Oh it's no Guernica :/

I noticed the tiling thing... that was unintentional. But I like the suggestion of it.

A quick revision based on comments on DRCsite:

Made the colours less... primary, added journey symbols to show that the people in the background are explorers, not D'ni, and flipped the stricken Bahro around to face in the other direction... I think it looks better.

now... but however, I prefer pictures like your Gahreesen mural... Very Happy
