This should be a really great episode. We just have one problem. We need a script!

The source material can be found here (scroll down to "Episode Nine"):

The Secret Room is about events on December 19, 2003, one week before Phil's disappearance from the Guild Hall. On this day, two "secret rooms" opened.... one in Douglas Sharper's Neighborhood... and the other in Kirel.

Douglas invited several of his supporters into his neighborhood to see the "Egg Room" for themselves.... while the DRC invited a lone explorer, Tink, to visit Phil Henderson in their neighborhood's private chambers.

I've managed to contact Tink and received her permission to recreate her avatar for her discussion with Phil Henderson for this Episode.

And, Tink mentioned that the original log could be found at the GoG, and I indeed found it, and wow it is helpful... Tink explained exactly where she was at each point throughout the log, some of her inner motivations... and there's time information so I know when the event took place.

That's helpful indeed! The original log is quite confusing. Now it's also more clear which scenes need to be filmed inside the egg room, which in the corridor before the egg rooms and which outside in Kirel.

One question for you, Marten... Are you going to film this in Kirel or in a casual neighbourhood? I guess Kirel looked like a casual 'hood when Tink met Phil there, otherwise she surely would have mentioned it, but both To D'ni and MOUL show us Kirel like it was intended.
So, I hope you will be able to film this in Kirel and will be able to avoid the tables and balloons that are there now.
The scenes inside the Egg Room and in the corridor can be filmed in our 'hood of course.

I guess it will be quite a hassle to make it seem to be filmed in Kirel, instead of Bevin, but it would really add a lot to the episode in my opinion. Smile

That's stunning!!!! Shocked WoW!!! Cool

I didn't know about that at all... That puts another complexion
on everything... I believe this will be a great piece of video... Razz

And if I had Marten's filming and trimming/assembling skills
with all the necessary knowledge and experience, I think this
would be an excellent and wonderful challenge to create and
compile the footage for this one... He'll make it... Very Happy

It will be filmed in Kirel... but not in today's Kirel.

Cool

Don't sweat it.

Great, Marten, exactly as I had imagined it. Smile
The first part seems just like Tink is entering a highly guarded government building. Very cool. Cool

Looks cool, Phils sandels were lavendar in colour just to let you know. Also the Kirel the event took place in was a regular hood, but I dunno how you want to deal with that.

Thanks Tweek! I'll update the sandals when I make that Relto book on Phil's hip go "poof". If you have more information about whether he continued to wear the sandals past this event, or reverted to his bare feet, let me know...

I know about the "Bevin-Style Kirel", but chose to film this part of the Episode in Kirel as explorers know it today.

True, but in To D'ni we saw that Kirel looked different than the regular 'hoods and it was implied in To D'ni that the DRC had always used that Kirel. Like Cyan saying to us: "Forget the Bevin-style Kirel. This is what Kirel was always like ICly." Wink
Filming a casual 'hood instead of Kirel would reverse Cyan's change in the story in my opinion.

He wore them up until his Guild Hall incident as far as I know, was a little surprised when he came back without them.

Clearly, we now have a mission: Ask Phil what happened to his purple sandals. Cool Laughing

So, I have some thoughts on a script for this episode.

December 19, 2003
7:00 PM

Tink receives message calling her to Kirel.

Intermingled with Tink's arrival in Kirel and as she walks towards the Egg Room, one or two flashbacks.

Flashback 1: December 10, 2003, Tink talking to Phil and Phil's promise to wear sandals from then on.

Flashback 2 (optional): Tink's protest of the DRC's treatment of Phil. Tink said she protested loudly the DRC's methods... but I'm not sure if we have any record of what she said or where she said it. I may send Tink another letter asking about it.

I'm not sure there's any good way to integrate Tink's internal thoughts into the script. Likewise, Tink's various PMs will have to be adjusted... within the secret room, Tink and Phil will speak directly to each other, and Tink's misdirected PMs simply won't be shown.

At the end of Tink's scene, "Meanwhile..." - and the film will shift to Douglas Sharper and Brian in the Egg Room, and the small flood that came in as Brian asked Douglas to share more invitations.

If we include the last part, that would be "10:30 PM" and would give us the opportunity to show some of the interaction between Douglas "Please don't call me hon" Sharper, and Katherian. However, if we choose to film this part, we cannot do it without casing someone as Pehpsee and including a note at the end of the episode that she is no longer with us. Also Vormaen is also in this episode... and anyone who hasn't should read this post.
