I'm glad I was able to hook up with you guys for breakfast on Sunday, and finally meet you MJ, Marten, Kia, Ashtar, Gwyn, et al!

You can't tell from the pics in the restaurant (the brick one, it's an old firehouse), but the pictures of the wine bottles on the wall are Chuck Norris wines. High-larious.

We just had to take pictures with those Chuck Norris wine paintings, because Chuck checks under his bed for Doug Sharper at night! ::raises beer mug in toast::

Here are the few pictures from my camera. Thank you, random stranger we asked to take our group pictures in the Rose Gardens! These are from Sunday, after brunch at Hi-Life. Ashtar and Gwyn had ventured off to the Space Needle because the rain had finally stopped, Marten was heading home, and the last few of us went to the nearby Rose Gardens for a little Uru-nerding-out.

Kierra, Mary, Rils, Moiety Jean

Fountainy goodness

The roses were all full of rainwater, and looking at them made me so thirsty, I wanted to grab one and drink out of it!

Rils stops to smell the roses

At the first sight of a cone, mayhem ensues

Rils then went home to check on poor, sick MrsRils, and Mary and Kierra and I went into the nearby zoo for fun. Mary couldn't stay long, but Kierra and I spent an hour or two there.

Kierra and Jean explore the deep jungles of Negilahn.. I mean, the zoo

I should have taken more pictures of the Rose Gardens so you can all see how much it looks like an Eder age, but later I'll post a few I've taken there in the past.

That's a nice surprise, MJ Very Happy

Thank you for posting those great pictures of you in the awesome
Woodland Rose Gardens.... They're very lovely... Now Mrs. Rils has
wonderful pictures of Rils in general and the one smelling the roses
is very sweet as well... Hope she'll feel better soon... Razz

I definitely had a great time and it was a most enjoyable weekend Smile I'm sure I drank too much of the Lake Water, but that's OK. I wouldn't want to scare anyone by appearing normal Smile The food was great. I'll have to start taking BBQ'ing lessons from Brian. Thanks to Eleri, MJ, Brian, and the rest of the bunch who made this possible. It's what Uru is really all about, the special people who are involved with it.

Ashtar

I'm so glad I got to meet new people and see familiar faces again. Those of you who couldn't make it were missed, and there in spirit, of course (especially the haunting Cycreim.. wooOOOooo).

We should plan a Great Tree meet for a year down the road and see if we can get everybody to save up for it. hehehe! Take that, Mysterium!

Have to start immediately...I've already put aside money I saved during
my vacation period, cause I didn't use it as I didn't go anywhere... Yeah!!!
And I hope, that it will be possible to sleep in anybody's house,
maybe yours MJ or Saxy's...the hotel rooms are quite expensive... Razz

LOL.. do I need to explain?

The basement room is my hobby room with my collection of 1980's-decade My Little Pony toys.

This is where Professor got to sleep when he stayed with us for Mysterium 2006; under the eyes of hundreds of charming, innocent ponies. Twisted Evil

There's the bed we set up for him. Hope it was comfortable enough! Must've been. It was kind of hard to wake him up the next morning. Very Happy

But yes, Jana, provided we are still in this house during the next meet, we still have room for you if Professor won't share. Wink

Haha, Prof Askew, that's nice...lol... Very Happy

Ooohh, MJ, that's very lovely, I can understand our Prof,
if he refuses to share lol... Razz

And what a wonderful room, it's quite big, so, many people could
sleep there... *but if he wants to keep that all for himself* <G>,
don't worry, MJ, I don't need too much space, hehe... Wink
Also, I can take my sleeping bag with me, so that I even won't
need a seperate room for myself... like this I could sleep anywhere
and feel like being in India lol...
(not to be misconceived... did I already mention somewhere, that I
love India and its easy way of living, just for tourists, of course, and
if you've enough time left to stay and enjoy... Cool )

But however, thank you, MJ, I'm glad that there'll actually probably
be this option... Very Happy

Prof, how did you manage to maintain some sense of manliness in a room like that?!

The ponies cower still, whenever someone in a brimmed hat enters the room.
