3rd ANNUAL
D'NI ST. PATRICK'S PARADE AND PARTY MARCH 17, 2007 1PM EDT TO BE HELD IN MO-UL !!!!!

I'm beginning the plans for the third annual D'ni St. Pats parade to be held this year in UruLive. Many of you have participated in the past but many have not. The 1st was held on Tapestry Event Shard, the 2nd on D'Mala and now the 3rd will be held on MO-UL. As I've said during the last two St. Pat's events...."You don't have to be Irish to wear green." It's a great event, lots of fun and a wonderful way to celebrate UruLive. So get out the green and get ready for a really huge event. It may seem a bit early to begin the plans but believe me it takes alot of time and work. If you plan on participating, you'll need alot of practice with marching, just ask anyone who's done it in the past two parades...I will try to set up people to help you with your practice if needed.

Right now I'm in the planning stages...I will pretty much be following the plans from last years notes with a few modifications. Right now I'm looking for volunteers to help plan the event. Please PM me here ASAP if you would like to help with the planning and when we have enough help, I'll schedule a meeting to go over the plans...

Thanks everyone.....

SG

Heads up folks. SuperGram wants to know if we'd like to be added as a fifth neighborhood for the St Pattys Day March this year!

I sent SuperGram a PM indicating that TGT would be honored to participate in this year's parade.

Sweet, sweeet double poast.

Mari' has contacted me regarding the upcoming St. Patrick's Day parade on March 17. It's time to start assembling The Great Tree entourage.

Please poast here if you would like to march in the parade or if you plan on attending as a spectator. Don't leave me hanging here, folks. Just a quick and easy...marcher...spectator... or not attending. They are setting up a web site for the event and I have to add the names representing TGT. There will be a one-time training session with the committee to lock down the parade route. Then we can go off on our own to practice some more if we think we need it.

So, let me know!

Marchers -
Professor Askew
CuzinJohn
Rils
Mystlander

Spectators -
Marten

Unable to attend -

I've not marched in a St. Paddy's Parade in years... YEARS I TELLS YA!!

Count me in. Sounds like a hoot.

Are we all to be "Wearin' o' the Green"? Except maybe for Dcos... don't you lads wear Orange?

Speaking of... AnnaCat, if you read this... you'll remember I recognized your "I had a hat" song... did you ever know this Little Irish Ditty?

"Oh, it is the biggest mix-up that you had ever seen...
Me Father, he was Orange, and me Mother, she was Green!"

When is it again? Oh wait, maybe the original poast has that info...

...

...

9 a.m. PST on a Saturday, eh? I imagine I can do that... Still leaves plenty o' time for "festivities" later in the day! Sign me up.

Convenient that we are all already wearing Yeesha shirts with Green on them... Wink

9 a.m., 10 a.m., it's still waaayyyy too early to get up on a Saturday. But just so long as there's some "greater good" being served here, count me in!

Yer right though, 10 a.m. is definetly more to my liking... Thanks for noticing! Embarassed

You can count me in, Professor! Please let me know if there is to be a Great Tree rehearsal, and if we are to dress all alike. Mr. Green
