Since I see that these Great Tree Episodes have become a big part of the group I am curious if anyone else has played The Movies game. I was really into it for a while. I've not had the tiome to work on any movies recently but I did do a few a while back.

Not sure what this is about, Malakah. Is the game like Scene It?

I love it.

Saxy, The Movies is a game kind of like the Sims but of a movie studio. You build a studio and make movies.

I played it for awhile. I think it would be a lot of fun but too time-consuming to get good at it. My movies really stunk because I didn't know how to play the game. I had a copy of the game with no instructions. But, it was still fun to watch the movies.

I own a copy, though I believe my sister has it at the moment. I thought it was a great concept and I made some great movies, but trying to make some high concept epic became really frustrating as money ran out and my actors kept throwing tantrums. In the end I was only playing in Sandbox mode and somehow that left me thinking "why bother with the game at all"

I suppose if I put in the time to have gotten good at the game it would been more enjoyable.

Care to share any of your creations, Mal? (I have decided to call you Mal since I won't forget how to spell that and because you like Firefly so I'm guessing won't object)

Not at all, I am used to being called Mal. Many do.

You can see some of my movies here:

I have some older ones but they are mostly garbage.

Just watched Unexpected Encounter, better than I ever did. My various attempts at Hitchcock style films were all just confusing and often disorientating to the point of nausea.

Looked through your list of Offline Movies: "Twos Company Threes Sexy! "?
Care to explain Wink Or is that just one of the titles the game generates Razz

ROFL, That was mine. That was a humours attempt to see how close to porn you could get with The Movies. Just really a short clip of a guy getting surprised and shocked to walk into his house and see his 2 female roommates making out in there underwear.
