The Great Tree

At the log in screen for untill uru , there are many other shards in the scroll down list and one is the Great Tree shard. How does one join or get on to any of these other shards ? . Seems D'mala shard is closed. Thank you

First of all, Little Dab....Welcome to The Great Tree!

Now, regarding Until Uru.....Check out this link at Uru Obsession and see if that thread is any help. You need an Invite I think in order to access Until Uru. Anyway, come back here if that doesn't help you and we'll get you more specific info.

As you've already realized, the "Invitations" received through friends are only useful for connecting to D'mala, which is offline today. I don't know if it will be returning.

To join the other Until Uru shards, you have to borrow or share a "Kagi Key" from someone who has one. Kagi Keys were only sold from August 2004 through November 2005. No more keys are being made. I believe that Cyan is limiting access to these shards in this manner to encourage people to join Uru Live, because Until Uru does not make any money for them. I'm sorry that you don't have broadband access where you live...

A better place to discuss Until Uru topics would be the D'ni Guild Forums (at Cyan World's website), here:

There are "Until Uru" and "Technical Support" forums there.

Also, the Great Tree Shard is loosely affiliated with The Great Tree. (I know this is confusing.) The Shard is run by one of our longtime members, Ashtar. The Shard has its own forums, which you can find at... http://www.greattreeshard.org/forum/
