The music is from Myst V. In general, I find Myst V's music to be more dramatic and in-the-face than Uru's.... Uru's music has more ambience. Still, there are a few Myst V pieces (such as the one I'm using for the start of Episode 2) that I'm determined to find a place for within these episodes.

Scene 1 (10:00AM): Edrick, Goffyone, Kirsehn, Miroku, MrM3FaN, RedTansNax

I've received responses from Edrick and MrM3FaN. MrM3FaN should be in attendance but Edrick said he cannot make it, so I'll cast someone else in his role.

10:00 AM session cancelled due to no turnout (only MrM3FaN was present).

I'd had some warning from IBNetweasel that the GoG had decided to schedule a halloween event today but I didn't expect it would cause this sort of problem.

Episode 2 Test 5. All titles are now in place from start to finish. All of the Eder Kemo scene is complete, including music synchronization and title length. Most of the Ae'gura scene is done. Episode runs about 15:43.

I've made a few scenes unusually bright - those represent scenes I want to replace with another camera angle. I'm also still missing the crowd shots in Ae'gura and those won't be filmed until November 5 at earliest. *shrug* I can go ahead and start adding translations, though. This is a 90% complete cut and this is a good time to point out suggestions or tweaks that should be made.

Observations I've already made:
* Increase the contrast between subtitles and the video (needed in a few scenes).
* At 4:05, there is a thin blue line on top of Phil which shouldn't be visible. This occurs where I am using a bluescreen effect to reduce the obviousness of Phil's relto book.

Notice anything else?

Oh yeah, file is about 21 megabytes (not release-quality resolution)

Looks great, Marten! It must've taken you many hours to put that together.

One question: Where's the music from that you used in the first half of the episode? I don't recognize it (so that probably means it's from Myst IV or V *lol*).

The only (cosmetic) problem I see is that the sky and trees jump around when Phil teleports, and it makes the jump cuts really obvious.

Other than that... this is possibly the most suspenseful episode to date.

Good point, Cycreim. I think I have a way of solving that, using masking. I'll see what I can do.

The music in the first half is "Yeesha - Beginnings", from Myst V.

Ja, we got your German version right here.
http://marten.treeweasel.com/UntilUru/ep2test5_g.mov

Does this look good? Credits music is now in place.

Also: This version doesn't contain the matting changes, but I just completed those and there's no more sudden tree position / sky changes. It looks seamless now. Muahahahah.

Also: German titles during the Great Tree logo were mispositioned; this is fixed in the project now.
