This work schedule for me should be more or less accurate through the beginning of August, give or take:
Mon 1-5
Tues 8-5
Wed 8-12
Thurs 1-5
Fri 8-5
Wednesday evenings are usually taken as well.
(All times Central)
Aside from that, just try to get me before I make other plans and I should be good. _________________ The laws contrived by the Proud are their security, and their undoing. Such laws make disobedience a virtue and obedience a sin. |

Thanks for the heads-up, taanith, I'm sure we can use you.
Okay, Marten, I'll post what I PM'd you here so we can begin to organize.
Thanks for the info, Jon. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

I'll need the double-tall, double-wide trailer for my dressing room. Only the blue M&Ms, please. And Chateau Petrus 1961 will be sufficient.

Okay, here's what I have in mind for the Episode One production schedule:
1) Professor Askew and Marten hold pre-production meeting. This is mainly to discuss FRAP issues and make sure we're on the same page technically speaking. This will make editing much easier.
The rest of the schedule is in no particular order.
2) FIRST UNIT:
Photographer - Marten
Cast -
CuzinJohn as DOUGLAS SHARPER
Dusante as himself?
Annacat as Explorer?
Jon as Explorer?
(More explorers needed.)
LOCATION: D'mala - Ae'gura (TBD)
3) SECOND UNIT:
Photographer - Askew
Cast -
ZARDOZ as himself
Cycreim as PHIL HENDERSON
LOCATION: D'mala - Eder Kemo
4) CRANE SHOTS for opening sequence.
LOCATION: Great Tree - Ae'gura (overlooking the City and moving towards the Library.)
5) VICTOR LAXMAN in Nexus.
LOCATION: Great Tree - Nexus
I'm fairly certain we will NOT be able to track down many of the original participants for their assistance with this project. Not surprising since this all happened two and a half years ago. Of the five names on the Episode One script, three were members at UO and none of them posted more than twice in all that time. Just for laughs, I'll shoot those three an e-mail to see if they can be reached. Even if they like the idea they're probably not even associated with Uru anymore. But, it can't hurt to try and, hey! maybe they're not even aware of the official re-opening of the Cavern. So, you volunteers stand ready to take their place. You can even use your own name if you want...and probably your own look, too. We'll play it by ear.
Let's go, people, we have a movie to shoot!! _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

That's what I was going to ask you about last night in the Cavern, Cycreim, if I wasn't so RUDELY interrupted three times by technology!! GRrrrrrr _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

UPDATE-
Now it's official...Schedules permitting, both Zardoz and Dusante have agreed to re-create their moments in Cavern history. Yay!
The Second Unit will begin filming next week. I will be in touch with both Cycreim and Zardoz for their availability. The First Unit gets a week off as Marten will be unavailable as DP (Director of Photography). My main goals during the upcoming week will be to film the Zardoz/Henderson scene, learn Adobe Promier Pro (LOL), and start assembling the Intro film. In other words, busy.
Finding some of these other explorers will no doubt prove impossible. So, you actors who have volunteered will be needed starting the week of June 26. I'll call your agents.
EDIT: See below. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters.

My agent's out of town for the weekend, plus I haven't gotten my work schedule that week for the pub. I can usually make it home by 10 EST regardless, although sometimes I get stuck if we have some sort of disaster or we're really busy (like when I missed the meeting.)
I work in the archive Monday-Thursday from 12:30 EST to 2:30 EST always, so those times are out for me.
I'll let you know when I have my evening schedule for that week.

D'oh! 2nd Unit starts next week. FIRST Unit will probably start shooting the following week.
It's bad enough incorporating film jargon into the project but to use it incorrectly....
I had some Fraps questions, Marten, but I forget them now. Have a great time in Dallas.

* Set Uru to 800x600
* Turn sound off in Uru
* Turn sound capture off in FRAPS
* Set FRAPS to capture 29.97 FPS and Full Screen capture
* Capture video to a different disk (physically) than Uru is installed on, if possible
* Have lots of memory on your PC - I use 2 gigabytes
* Don't run any other applications
* If video is dark, lighten with VirtualDub
Any questions? _________________ Durin Mephit * Member of Guild of Messengers - Unless otherwise stated, opinions are mine only and not Guild endorsed.

I'm sorry, Professor, but your response was NOT in the form of a question. Marten, you have control of the board.
