Trust me, Cuzin. I have the whole series and they stop at 75. Check at www.milehighcomics.com if you want confirmation. Plus, it's a great resource for some of those books you might be looking for. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

From what I've read, the Sandman series is some good stuff. I got a chance to look through some of the trade paperbacks and was impressed with the various art styles and stories.
Gaiman has done some great writing. I had to read Neverwhere this semester, which I will plug and recommend here. Awesome book. |

Have you seen the BBC TV mini series they did of Neverwhere? It's very good if you haven't seen it and out on DVD as well.
And right now I've just been cursing my computer and spending the last three hours trying to figure why I couldn't get anywhere online. Oh well seems to be working now |

Not yet but I've been meaning to, Farlesis. Now that the semester's over I think I'll take on a NetFlix subscription (at least the trial offer I have). I would imagine that would be up there in the que. Thanks for the reminder. |

Very nice..i have all four of the orginal books of magic...also three of the latter "books" that pickup where the first series left off..(reminds me..i better get to my comic shop and see if i can get the rest of the series)
and is it jsut me...or ..given the time frames...Tim is the ORGINAL harry potter..(english kid..adopted family...works magic...dark messy hair..wears glasses..short/skinny for his age...OH and he has an owl)?? _________________ /to Dn'I ..and beyond..the path of the shell beckons..the journey, not the destination, continues. Right now I've just gone through my entire collection of Hellraiser comics to get to the Books of Magic and yes Tim does look like Harry Potter. On another note have you read Ursula K Le Guin's 'The Earthsea Quartet' that she wrote in the 70's. Wizard on an island trained in a school of wizards. Sound familiar The UK Times did an interview with Ursula last year and asked her how she felt about JK Rowling's success. Which I thought was a bit off, talk about putting someone in the hotseat. |

I boycotted Harry Potter for quite a long time for that very reason.....he was an exact duplicate of Tim Hunter!! Only Tim wasn't for kids. I was angry (stupid, I know) that this would-be Tim Hunter was getting so much recognition......being stolen and all. Later, I calmed down and watched the first movie when it was free on cable. I really enjoyed it. So, I watched the second one when it was free on cable. Enjoyed that, too. Will probably see "HP3: Prisoner..." in the theatre. LOL. But, I will not read the books. That's what's left of my protest. _________________ Professor Daniel Askew - Securing our reality from the machinations of the Station Masters. |

I have read all of them up to book 5.
will watch PoA (3) at midnight.
know that putting sorcerer's stone in the kid's section at Blockbuster is a big mistake. sets a precedent, and the 5th book is a little too creepy for 5 year olds. would love to see that movie though.

Right now once again I'm wallowing in the nostalgia that is RealMyst, that Stoneship Age still freaks me out everytime with the lightning and the rain, dark stone corridors if the energy runs out, you come up back and its night time outside. Not nice at all. |

Thanks for trying, Cuzin. I think someone needs to write a new descriptive book for the UO Age, it has become unstable! |
