You may have noticed that a few of the original GZM markers from Live weren't around anymore while running through your 5 and 20 GZM missions. Some of those markers became CGZMs for the 4 final calibration runs... so as a Live player you've got a head start. Also, as you find the markers, each gets easier because you'll have indicators on your KI telling you where you are, and you're given the location values in the GZ.

Marker one is somewhere near Bevin's classroom. Where exactly? Arg. I even tried to do the balcony jump (please don't say that's how to get it!).

You shouldn't have to do the balcony jump anymore either, something else a lot easier to help you get there.

I got it. I just want to know why they had to put it in an unclickable distance from the ledge.

fortunately, the solution hit me quicker than any Myst puzzle I've done so far: jump off, click on it wildly, and hope for the best.

fortunately, I got it just before I panick linked.

I'm sounding really stupid again, but...

now what?

I found the sparkly shell at tahkota, and though it's pretty, it soesn't do anything.

4/4/04

I found a cannen page. On a whim, I decided to see if I could fill the songs in by making my own pages. I took out 15 pieces of paper, and wrote one song title, and its artist, on each one. I put those in my Relto book behind my new Yeesha page, and reactivated the canaan page, and all he songs I had chosen appeared on the sheet as well. I read Watson's journal, and he seems to know at the end wha I would be trying to do. the last entry urged me to take the journey. That's a little redundant, but i's nice to see that Watson finally is listening to reason.

I then realized where I was, and since I washere anyway, I decided to do what I imagined since reading BoA. first, I took a nap.

Then I jumped down the shaft, and linked away.

The ending music to Riven came on as I hit the button on top of my new gadget, and the words which I have memorized with that music now hold new meaning.

"Now I am at rest, understanding that in books, and ages, and life the ending can never truly be written"...

I'm babbling now.

Thanks everyone. I would still be trying to-at least find the first calibration marker, and blowing a vein in my temples out of frustration.
