The work you are doing in the D'ni Research forum is simply outstanding. I want to take the time to thank you for all of your efforts to fully document everything that is D'ni and help to create what is becoming a truly exhaustive source of valuable information.

I'd like to try to spread the word about what a useful resource we have here at our board. Maybe someone can post a link to the D'ni Research forum on other sites. I'd do it, but I like to shy away from self promotion.

Thanks again for your wonderful contribution to our community.

Embarassed Thanks for the words everyone, I just love the Myst world, it's history and story just astounds me everytime. Thanks again.

I know this forum is listed on the Guild of Cartography website and it's also listed on the D'ni Raider's Group website, I emailed the Adminstrator for that one as he was asking for websites of all the groups and forums to do with Uru and the Myst World.

Kehrin also has a link to the GT forum on her site 'The D'ni Desk Reference.'

I would also like to thank you Farlesis, for if I had not met you that fateful night I may never have became a member of the Great Tree.

Your dedication to your work is inspiring.

Thanks Kyven. Well CuzinJohn and yourself where the first two people I got chatting to when I first came into Uru Live and we all went to Eder Kemo. It was a great night, just standing in an Age and talking about it with other people was amazing. So thank you for that.

I also need to express my thanks to Farlesis here. The research forum brings back a lot of memories, and its frequent updates always give me a quick dash of nostalgia to look forward to. Thanks man!

Yes, must I agree with everyone... KUDOS, Farlesis!

Since your research is becoming a rather monumental task, please let me know if you need assistance... I am eager and happy to help you in any way possible.

Hi Daedalus and Mystlander

Thanks for your words.

Anybody is more than welcome to help out with transcribing the journals. Don't want people thinking that they can't or stepping on any toes or anything. Far from it. Any help is greatly appreciated. The three journals in the library <?> on the three Kings stories need transcribing, so if someone wants to make a start on them, then feel free, and the journals in the Hall of Kings. Just let me know which ones you plan to do, then I know and can do different ones. Thanks again.

Farlesis

Something else I've been thinking about as well for sometime 'Sharper's Journal' both the old one and the new entries, get them transcribed. As everybody has more or less read the new entries, there would be no need to put it in the Spoilers section and it can go in the Research section as a single thread and the thread can be updated as and when new entries are written.

Awww... ya big LUG! you went and made me all weepy. Sad

It was a good time. I always liked meeting new folks, especially when Uru was Live. I think it's a little bit funny that we'd meet on and off, and then wound up in the same hood. Great minds thinking alike and all that jazz...

One of my saddest losses with the loss of Live was the KI pic from that night. It was a great reminder of a great night. Someday I owe you and everyone else a drink at the Pub... if we ever geet to meet there again.

Cheers!

Oh wow cool, thanks Kyven Very Happy

Wandering the city last night and it just struck home how much I miss Live, the only sound being my feet on the stone floors and thinking at one time there was 30 odd people here as well.

And I'm sure one day we shall all be back down in Ae'gura and we can all drink to that Very Happy

Very, VERY cool, Kyv... many thanks.

Here I go... gettin weepy again...

Amid this upwelling of emotion, I'd like some input on a debate I recently had with my Mrs. on this exact topic. However, I think the discussion might be better suited for the 'randomness' forum... So I'm off to post there next.
