A few pointers where you'll find tidbits of info:

It could be tricky to dig through these resources. I'm also privy to non-public discussion regarding this from the OpenUru team, we have a little room on Skype where we hang. What I can tell you is that the wheels have begun to turn just a bit faster. Fan content came onto Minkata at the end of June. Testing has been ongoing. And Chogon has been reviewing builds from OpenUru. Barring sudden disaster, it's coming.

While I'm mentioning Discord, if you weren't aware, there are several other Cyan-related ones out there, including:

Official Cyan Chat (busy)
Myst, Obduction, and Beyond (quieter)
The Starry Expanse Project, which has been VERY quiet since Rand's announcement about collaboration at Mysterium 2019

Right now, I've updated my profile which I hadn't touched in over a decade. I've changed careers, homes, and I think all of the chat services this forum supports IDs for have tipped over and died (Yahoo, AIM, MSN...). If you're looking for me today, I'm on Discord as Alderem#3476.

Right now, it was exciting to see literally hundreds of explorers gathering in the Cavern to hear the news. A few familiar faces, but still mostly newbies. LOL! Relatively speaking, of course. Can't wait to check the new Ages out.

Right now it seems like I wander back into the world of Myst and Uru about this time of the year. Delighted to find new Ages in Uru!

Right now...

The new ages are wonderful. They were one of the few highlights of 2020, for me.

I wanted to inquire, what is the status of the remaining Great Tree documentary videos? Are there some things one might do to aid in seeing the project through to completion?

I went back through the currently available episodes today. They definitely show their age, but I still hope to see the rest of them completed, sometime in the future.

Remastering the original completed episodes in MP4 format is on my "To Do" list.

Completing the series - that's more complicated. To do this, I need a shard administrator who is willing to work with me. Every time someone has asked about this, I've brought up what I need, and I've yet to see anyone follow through. So things are shelved until that changes.
