May not get the joke if you don't know the following.

Portal 2

Coredumps

I've also been working on professional style intros and outros for videos. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Cool

Jana,

For WMV files, on all versions of Windows from XP through 7, there's Windows Movie Maker or Windows Live Movie Maker. Look for that. It helps you assemble movies and will convert them from the FRAPS format for you. It's a good way to start out.

If you want to convert to QuickTime, you'll need to purchase QuickTime.

Remember that on the Guild of Messengers website, under "Tutorials", you'll find a PDF of "How to create Game Videos", written by myself and assembled by Szark!

Right now thank you, Marten, for your kind advice and reminders... Razz

Windows Movie Maker resp. Windows Live Moviemaker 2011 isn't preinstalled
anymore, at least it isn't on my 64 bit machine and OS... It is now included
within the Windows Live Essentials... I had the option to uncheck all the other
tools and apps coming along with that app compilation, but somehow I don't
like those huge MS programs (apart from only saving to wmv) lol...

I found a quite tiny app for wmv, Flash and other conversions, which it does
quite well... It is called 'Any Video Converter' and I once again tried 'SUPER 2011'
for mov files, which is not so bad, but requires more experience and encoding
basics etc...

Generally, Marten, I don't really need an editing tool as I do not intend to
produce videos for public enjoyment, approval and review like you...
I need Fraps first and foremost for ingame screens and as I have the option
to capture videos as well with a stroke of a key lol I thought I'd give it a try
and was amazed by the huge file size produced within a few minutes...
Quicktime is not very expensive btw but I don't need it atm...

Yeah, maybe one day Rand graces us with his presence down there, presenting
a new male dance emote haha and if I happen to be there I could capture and
keep those great moments forever haha...

Ok, see ya all maybe later or just have a great weekend and have fun... Very Happy

Any Video Converter is a nice app. I've used that for various things I've downloaded off of youtube.

Right now I wish you all a great and exciting day and week (tomorrow we'll have a full moon
lunar eclipse btw., this month is actually very special with two partial solar eclipses on the first
of June and one on the first of July, the lunar eclipse inbetween and the summer solstice on
the 21., very powerful haha...)... Smile

Right now I just looked into that. Sounds like yet another internet thing that doesn't interest me. Good for anyone else though.
