I, Jonathan, and Jim (whom Brian and MJ got to meet a few weekends ago) have our tix already. We got the expen$ive $65 ones and will be sitting in row 5... a bit off to the side, but pretty close to the stage. Cool

If the rest of you want to get tickets to all sit together, then you need to work that out among yourselves. Pick up your phones and dial one another, you've got each other's phone numbers. Figure out who's buying the tickets, how the money will be collected, when you can pay.

Remember that larger block seating may further limit your seating choices among the available seats.

I've been lazy about getting to it, but I was thinking of inviting TGT over to our house for socials either before or after the concert.

I would vote for the fooding and gathering before the concert rather than after. Smile Maybe something like gathering -> MoMa -> concert? (Since MoMa closes at 5pm. Cough cough.) Cool

The day before, friday, I'm arriving by train around noon... and with other friends, will be going to the Jonathan Coulton concert at the Moore.

No plans for Sunday other than the train ride home... gotta turn the rental car in around 1:30 pm to be certain to get back to the station and on board by 2:20pm.

Brain fail. I meant to write SAM (Seattle Art Museum), not MoMA (Museum of Modern Art).

We still haven't visited SAM yet. That could be fun!
We also discovered the Japanese Garden this year, which is gorgeous in fall. It's probably least picturesque in the winter, but I'm sure it's still worth $5/person to wander.

I haven't heard anything back from Saxy and Kev, so all I know is that she'll have her little brother with her at the concert. I'm not sure if this will limit her availability before or after.
Seems like this will be a pretty informal thing, but we'll make it fun. Why don't you give me a call after your concert, Marten? We can plan Saturday. Smile

I'm in Seattle, maybe I can call this evening before concert? Concert is at 8, I don't want to call you too late.

Round 2!

Video Games Live is returning to the Northwest US with two shows near the end of 2009. These shows will be held Saturday November 7 at 3:00PM, and Sunday November 8 at 7:30PM, at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Oregon. Those who weren't able to attend the gathering in Seattle can hopefully attend in November.

Those of you in our Northern Neighbor, Canada, should also know that there are two shows in Kitchener, ON, in March... and then a series of shows across the country in May. The Canadian tour begins May 10, 2009 in Saskatoon, SK and heads west through Regina, Calgary (two days), Edmonton, Kelowna, and Victoria before concluding May 24 in Prince George, BC.
