Right now my Ipod has Bruce Hornsby, Wierd Al, Sting, Waylon Jennings, ESPN: PTI, The Cavern News, BeeGees, Luther Vandross, Evanesence, .38 Special, Jimmy Buffet, The Corrs, Dave Matthews, Frank Sinatra, and that's just the most recently played...I have 25GB of music with me at all times!

Oh and about 5GB of podcast shows like NPR's Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, and Hanselminutes, The Video Game Show, The Signal, The McLaughlin Group, and of course, US Senator Barack Obama Podcast.

I just love digital media!

Over in Pants (that's where all my mp3s hide) I have a significantly erratic 16GB folder of tunes.

Most recently I've been listening to Tim, Peter Gabriel, Magne Furuholem (and if you recognize that name...), some new Gaia Consort stuff, Heather Alexander, and hunting down some bluegrass.

I just bought a great album on iTunes... well, great if you enjoy really strange hip-hop. It's Boom Bip collaborating with Doseone on an album called Circle. Doseone is great, I can't get enough of the dude.

Ooh, iPod listings...

Right now on my iPod I have A Perfect Circle, The Dandy Warhols, Disturbed, Dredg, Eagles, Gorillaz, KMFDM, Opeth, Rammstein, Snow Patrol, Stone Temple Pilots, System Of A Down, and, of course, Tool.

I also noticed the Myst Soundtrack anthology that I rarely listen to these days... Sad

I ran across a Boom Bip song playing on satellite radio the other day.

I immediately recognized a sample he used in it...

...from a symphonic production of The Legend of Zelda music.

The song is "Roads Must Roll."

Me either, MJ... Instead I have a Creative Zen, because it plays ALL music file formats... not just MP3s. Cool

Right now the screaming of apes and frenzied wailing from the entire first segment of 2001: A space odyssey makes a fitting background music for reading Uru forums.

:: grin ::
